UCI Worlds Zolder

Only a few days now until the start of the 2019 world champs in Zolder.

Racing starts on Tuesday 23rd with the cruiser classes and ends Saturday 27 with the best of the best all competing for those coveted rainbow jerseys.

Entry lists are HUGE with some race categories having over 170 riders entered.

If you’ve not been fortunate to qualify, or just couldn’t make the journey over but want to keep up to date with all the action, there are sure to be some live feeds doing the rounds and I will endeavour to posts links as and when they become available, BMX live TV on Youtube are usually good for it, but haven’t seen any confirmation as yet.

The Beginning of……..

Featured

After a few years of travelling North, South, East, West around the country with my son on the National BMX Race scene, it was one particular race we were at where we had a rare chance to actually visit the local towns and cities.I came across a stand alone clothing brand, selling great quality garments with stunning yet sometimes very simple designs. I was hooked, and have a few tops of theirs now and always look to buy more. Through a colleague in my 9-5 job I came across another brand, who had created a similar concept but with bits and pieces from their own specialty, a standalone piece, very intricate but just one model. My cogs started churning, wondering if I could somehow combine the two……….After some early set backs, fundamentally due to my lack of graphic design skills, I enlisted the help of a friend, a graphic designer who kindly said he would help. A few designs back and forth and the final product was there. My noodle is constantly working on designs to pull through and incorporate, everywhere I go I’m much more aware now of prints, patterns, styles, all ideas for future products.I am often asked “ SUB22, What does that mean?? Well, in thinking of a brand name, I discovered that the human skull contains 22 bones, and in my design they’ve been SUBstituted for bike components, and so it came to be SUB22
